July - where have we been?

it has been a month of international leapfrog.

It is late in July, summer is losing its memory in Reykjavik; it swings its mood as adolescents.
The sonata of urban decay plays sounds in all our ears... whether we hear it, or whether we are just a mere sounding board for its blackened waves.


After the excellent time in Utrecht with Alexander Fielded we had visitors.

The Excellence of and Adam Eeuwens and Rebeca Méndez, whilst traveling the rock came to stay.
   


From there we went to Barcelona to take our seemingly biannual KDU core meetings with David Gensler at the BBB.


In Barcelona we spent time with Rafael Pinho, vagrant photographer and new member of the Union.

Kei Kagami

Kei is from somewhere else. 
His work is from somewhere else. 
it is from some unchartable region... left of Mars, and out a little further. 
His work is wonderfully hidden amongst the archaic pages of internet 1.0 and 2.0
 


Moritz Waldemeyer

Moritz...  Moritz is like pure digital information.  I don’t think he is comparable... we spent time together earlier this year talking over some black kaffi and Italian biscuits.

Briefly I met again with Aki Choklat , demigod shoe designer and curator of a soon to be published book on contemporary shoe design which includes collection one ...I have walked to be published October 2008 by daab.
