MUNDI

Guðmundur Hallgrímsson is a graphic designer, yet he has found love with the illustrated design of clothing. And thus has my studio been employed to develop with Gummi, and create for him, the forms and patterns of his scaled-out futurist caricouture-clothing.

Gummi is a a Capricorn, is fun and out going and loves Icelandic wool, Icelandic women and spacemen. Lives in Reykjavik, Iceland

DEAD

Jón Sæmundur Audarson is a visual artist. He also likes to print on clothing. Black clothing. He considers most of his Dead clothing as visual art and even though it is art ‘meant to be worn’ it can just as well decorate the living room wall.

In march Jon and I began the design process of a new label for his new store Liborius on by the harbour in Reykjavik. This range has been put through the rigours of lead pencil to bleached pulp paper, and the base blocks have now been moulded to skinny men. We will shortly be resolving and making the sample and show pieces for production and sale.
A proto-run of trousers will arrive on the smoky shores of the bay soon. imagine black, and go darker.

SHOE

I like shoes. so do my feet. I assume does yours too.
For the new dead lable and for a separate exhibition there is being developed a series of wearable and sculpted foot forms.

Brendan Dwyer makes incredible shoes. Really. Go find him and commission a pair. They will last your life and through the stark ripped chappels and channels of death - and they'll probably go well with your coffin. Brendan and I are collaborating on the tech development of boots and shoes for the above.
These boots have been bought before they have been made... always odd.

Brendan likes riding bikes, telling leather what the hell to do. Lives in Melbourne, Australia


Alex Dunwoodie is part of Stepping Out, a company in Sydney making shoes for Motion Picture and the Stage. Alex and I are collaborating on series of foot sculptures. You can put them. you cant wear them... not because we say, but because pain thresholds and gravity do.

Alex is a Taurus, likes Vietnamese food, the sun, boots and eye contact. Lives in Sydney, Australia

UNFURL

Late last year Experimenta Interactive media art exhibition showed the giant Unfurl holograms made by Martina Mrongovius and I. In August this year the gentlemen of Diatribe Gallery Studios in Melbourne will be showing the otherworldly pieces.

CHORUS

Kate Davis wrote The Chorus a little while back. It is an adult færri tale for children and psychologists.
Then she asked me to do did the illustrations for it. and then they were showed in Gel Galerí in Reykjavik.
This is now almost a book will shortly go through publication in a handful of countries.

Currently Kate and i are working on Tom Waits Alice and Jasmine Chans Corvus. They are plays. And they are dark. Dark seems to be a theme in here

Kate is a Gemini, likes puppies umbrellas and oxygen.

TRABANT

...has just released the the music video of THE ONE [Filthy Dukes remix]. It went straight to number one in Iceland. and is about to be released in the United Kingdom. anticipation.
