Pink. An exercise in personal distaste.
Disliking pink immensely led to making something out of two fabrications of that leaning.
Once the shirt block shape was finalised and fitted the shirt was designed on the pattern draft. The bust and waist darts become one flat-felled seam as they drop from the sternomastoids. The tightly rolled front hem scythes sharply up at the back to be caught in the yoke to create a beautiful tri-angular crop of the mid and lower back, and define the hips. The placket length is exaggerated to allow the sleeve to roll up more and bump up the contrast of the cuffs and collar.
